I like that the first video shows all of the attempts needed to light the tinder with your firesteel. It can be very tempting to edit those out. But the video shows, quite truthfully, that it can be very difficult to light natural tinder with a firesteel - even under ideal circumstances. Thanks!
Thanks Steve. I was trying to get it going without blowing the sparks to flame. Plus it was Giant Sequoia inner bark which has anti-flame tendencies as well ;) I was just testing that out to see what gives.
